Happy 3rd Anniversary, everyone! So I (and ICC) have a few things to say about this game: Viere (Me): "This game has impacted me positively as a person and my life in general, giving a fun career as a musician and artist, as well plenty of friends I care about. And the game itself is and might always be in remembrance to me. So, thank you, Toby Fox, for what you've done for everyone. Here's to another year." ICC: "it's already been 3 years? god damn. i remember how much i sucked back when i actually got into making music, and I'm glad i was able to improve so much, even though that's not really saying much if you think about it, since my music skills used to be...literal dog shit. that's an accurate represantation. but throughout this journey, I wasn't alone, I met so many great people that i now consider great friends and so many other people that i highly respect and look up to. we've had our fair share of ups and downs, but at the end of the day, we're still the same amazing community. I just want to thank everyone who has been and is still here, and lastly, I want to thank Toby Fox himself for creating this incredible game. it's changed my life, and I say, for the better. also thanks to viere for letting me collab on this, it was quickly put together by us, but i think we did a good job. here's to another year, everyone. stay strong and stay epic. :ok_hand:" Let's make it another good year, everybody! Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links - Rise of Yubel Event: Duel World Theme
Firstly, I'd like to give a HUGE thanks to Carson (@carson08022000) for his invaluable feedback. Without it, this remix would not be as good as it has turned out. Be sure to check out his own content, it's really damn good! Also, I'm incredibly pleased with how this turned out. Kristian did an attempt at an S1-2 style version of this theme about a year ago, but it needed some fine tuning. And that's what this post is for. Hope you guys enjoy! :) --Chris ------------ Original Theme by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell Composition by AngryBirdFan98 Instrumentation and Mixing by Invisiblemario17
As the credits came down, the lights in the room came up and the curtains closed but the music still plays. Popcorn and empty drink cups decorate the auditorium but the sound remains constant as the hubub of conversation about what people have just seen gathers like a storm. Let the Soundtrack House You is the storming new single from heavyweight producer DJ Overdose, picked up by Lopasura which has also seen releases from Mark Forshaw, Drvg Cvltvre, The Acid Mercenaries and label boss Benedikt Frey. A slow paced analogue jam with a Burial-esque vox which although distant is also soothing, like the disembodied fuzz you hear on a detuned radio. This is a more gentle track from Overdose although there is still a sense of menace deep down between the kick drums and the bass. Let the Soundtrack House You is exactly the sort of track you want to hear on the radio as you climb into the back of a taxi on the way home from the club and will stay with you long after the last note plays out, much like the end credits on the soundtrack to a film. https://soundcloud.com/jayoverdose https://soundcloud.com/lopasura
this plays when the lights are off in the whole house
Multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer Peter Broderick will release a new extended player titled 'Two Balloons' on November 9th with Erased Tapes. Available as a limited edition 10” vinyl and digital download, it features the score for the award-winning animation of the same name, inspired by an early recording of his, plus a 9-minute electronic rework on the B-side titled Techno For Lemurs. Fairly often we see albums of “Music inspired by the film __”, but less common is a film inspired by music. Such is the case with Two Balloons. Director Mark C. Smith got the idea for his nine-minute stop frame animation film while out at sea, looking at a majestic funnel cloud in the distance. Shortly after he heard a song by Peter Broderick from one of his earliest recordings — 4 Track Songs — and the music struck a chord so strongly, he knew he wanted to make a film to fit the melody. And so began the five-year labour of love that would eventually produce this enchanting little film, currently circulating film festivals around the world and racking up countless awards and accolades including ‘Best Original Music Score’ at the New Renaissance Film Festival in Amsterdam. Peter begins his European tour tomorrow in Cardiff and will perform at the Erased Tapes Northern Showcase in Wakefield with Rival Consoles and Hatis Noit on Saturday September 15th. So basically Kristian did a shitpost with Sudrian Afro's "Percy's Mischievous Theme": https://soundcloud.com/angrybirdfan98/percy-unused-s1-theme Then that lead to this legitimate post, putting the Rolie Polie Olie theme in the style of Percy's theme. Turned out incredibly well, and I hope you guys enjoy! :) --Chris ------------- "Rolie Polie Olie" Theme by Brent Barkman and Pete Coulman "Percy's Theme" by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell Composition and Instrumentation by AngryBirdFan98 Adjustments and Mixing by Invisiblemario17
